NEXUS is excited to kick off another year of growth, connection, and impact with the Class of 2027! We’re proud to welcome the next generation of Memphis leaders who are ready to learn, serve, and make a difference. We’re grateful to our mentors for sharing their wisdom and our protégés for bringing their energy and enthusiasm to NEXUS!
Class of 2027 Mentors and Proteges began their NEXUS experience with a Meet + Greet event. This provided an opportunity for class participants to connect in a casual setting. Special thanks to Higginbotham for hosting this fun event.
The KICKOFF took place in August, class members learned about our city, individual strengths, and participated in training. The theme of the day was “There’s No MEmphis Without Me” which will be carried throughout the upcoming year. Panelists and NEXUS Alumni Ephie Johnson, Sally Pace, and Darrell Cobbins shared their Memphis journeys, what it means to be a Memphian, and how each of us can get involved and make a lasting impact in our community.
We’re looking forward to an exciting year filled with meaningful connections, inspiring conversations, leadership development, and opportunities to make a difference.
