Protege Applciation

    Thank you for your interest in participating in the NEXUS Class of 2026. NEXUS Proteges are emerging leaders that are looking for personal development, professional development, and opportunities to serve our community. As part of the application process, we are asking you to answer the protégé questionnaire no later than JUNE 10. The questionnaire will be key in matching you to your ideal mentor. It is important to the process to answer the questions as thoroughly as possible as well as be fully committed to the expectations outlined in the questionnaire. You will be contacted via email later this summer.

    As we plan for the Class of 2026, the NEXUS Board and Program Committee are intentional and are committed to providing an experience for participants to develop personally and professional with an interactive and engaging experience.

    To the best of your ability, can you commit yourself to the following expectations to ensure your leadership development in the upcoming NEXUS Class of 2026 and make NEXUS a priority over the next ten months?

    The Mentor/Protégé Relationship is the key component to the program. Commit to accountability, confidentially, mutual respect, and attendance at the 1-1 meetings.

    To attend an Orientation on August 23, 2025; 8:30am-2:00pm

    To fulfill the $650 Tuition Fee

    To complete the assigned curriculum. (including books, articles, Podcasts, TED Talks, etc.)

    To complete one Service Project organized and agreed upon by the NEXUS Class. (3-4 hour commitment)

    To attend in-person at least seven of the nine Thursday evening speaker sessions; 5:30-8pm.

    • August 23, 2025 - ORIENTATION

    • September 9, 2025

    • October 7, 2025

    • November 4, 2025

    • December 2, 2025

    • January 6, 2026

    • May 5, 2026-GRADUATION
